The task

Stairlifts often contain moving components that are not firmly defined. The question therefore arose as to how the product could be securely and efficiently fixed without changing the existing outer packaging. The padding had to allow easy handling and at the same time ensure the protection of the product.

Our solution

The cast fibre cushion for the stairlift seat consists of two side panels and a SafePac Basic protective mat, which serves as a shock-absorbing floor cushion. This fulfils the demanding requirements of our customer:

The clever design provides sufficient free space for moving components that are not firmly defined.
Thanks to the intelligent geometry of the cushion, it is variable for different designs.
Employees can easily reach into the box during packing to place the product. Removal by the end customer can also take place without any problems.
The existing outer carton is retained.
