The task: Our task was to develop safe transport packaging that was optimised for the finger piano and at the same time showcased the instrument in an attractive way. We focused on developing a flexible solution that fulfilled individual shipping requirements.

Our solution

Our experts developed an innovative solution that overcame the challenges. The one-piece packaging concept, consisting of an identical upper and lower part, not only enables the finger piano to be transported safely, but also allows the instrument to be visible without compromising on protection. The option of storing the instrument in the same packaging after use creates additional added value.

The molded fiber pad is manufactured using the PressTec process, which was specially developed for the production of molded fiber transport protection and presentation products. In this innovative manufacturing process, a NormTec molded fiber product is smoothed and given its final shape in the additional process step of after-pressing. This process step significantly reduces the space required for transport and storage, thereby improving efficiency. The excellent flatness of the products ensures smooth automated processing, which is particularly important for an efficient packaging process. A PressPac molded fiber product is characterised by optimised handling in the packaging process and a precise fit. This method not only gives our molded fiber products their characteristic shape, but also guarantees the highest quality and functionality.
