The task: Our task was to develop a packaging solution that would transport different variants of control units and different generations of devices safely and efficiently. The challenge was to find a solution that was not only versatile, but also took into account the need for optional accessories.

Our solution

Our experts developed an innovative solution that overcame the challenges. The molded fiber interior packaging simultaneously serves as a right and left pad which securely holds the control units in place. This intelligent solution not only facilitates flexible application for different appliance versions and generations, but also significantly reduces the storage space requirements for packaging.

Our molded fiber packaging for control units is manufactured using the FineTec process. The special feature of this process is the increased strength of the molded fiber product compared to the PressTec process, which can reduce material requirements by up to 30%. The smooth surfaces make FinePac molded fiber products particularly suitable for product fixation and for holding precision components in place.
