Deciding on a career path is a major challenge for many young people. At buhl-paperform, we now offer junior staff an excellent opportunity to make the best possible start to their career: our dual training concept gives them the chance not only to complete a sound apprenticeship, but also to obtain a University entrance qualification at the same time. This makes it possible to start your career after just 3 to 3.5 years with two valuable qualifications.

What is LehrePlus?

Our dual training concept is called LehrePlus. It is aimed specifically at prospective industrial clerks, industrial mechanics (m/f/d) and technical product designers (m/f/d) and combines traditional vocational training with a degree-qualifying programme. This means that the Fachabitur can be acquired parallel to the apprenticeship.

Requirements for the Fachabitur:

In order to participate in LehrePlus, certain requirements must be met:

• The intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) must be available
• At least satisfactory performance in two of the subjects maths, German and English in the last report card from secondary school
• Or promotion to year 11 of the upper secondary school is available

And this is how it works:

The LehrePlus programme is clearly structured to provide an optimal learning environment:

• August - January: Start of training with us
• From then on: 2 years of Saturday lessons for the vocational baccalaureate in Dillenburg
• After that: In the final year, full concentration on regular training and preparation for the final exams

The double qualification lays the perfect foundation for the start of your career and after 3 or 3.5 years you not only complete an apprenticeship, but also acquire a university entrance qualification.
