The task
Our customers' requirements are our top priority. This project focused on the development of an innovative solution for the optimal and precise positioning of set items within the existing outer carton. The solution had to eliminate the need for folding in order to significantly reduce production and packaging costs. The aim of the project was to create an efficient and sustainable packaging solution that met the specific requirements of our customer.
Our solution
We developed a molded fiber inlay for the assembly set that was designed to fit seamlessly into the existing logistics setup. Measuring L 177 x W 143 x H 48 mm, it is perfect for the precise positioning of set items while retaining the existing outer carton.
To ensure optimum handling in the packaging process and a precise fit, we used our PressTec technology in an additional process step – after-pressing – to smooth the packaging and produce its final form.
